Pure water pole window cleaning system

Clean windows make a house feel different β€” brighter inside, smarter outside. We provide a window cleaning service across the North East using pure-water pole technology, which is safer, more thorough and cleaner than traditional ladder-and-squeegee window cleaning. We work on residential properties from cottages to large detached houses, and on commercial premises up to several storeys.

Pure water has no minerals in it, so when it dries on glass it dries to a streak-free finish without any wiping or polishing. Combined with a soft brush on a long telescopic pole, we can clean upper-storey windows safely from the ground without ladders or scaffolding β€” faster and far less intrusive than the traditional approach.

How pure-water pole cleaning works

Mains water contains dissolved minerals β€” calcium, magnesium and other salts β€” which is why ordinary tap water leaves marks when it dries on glass. To get streak-free results without wiping, you need pure water (technically called deionised water) with all the minerals removed. We produce this water with a multi-stage filtration system that includes carbon, reverse osmosis and deionising resin.

The pure water is fed up a long carbon-fibre pole to a soft brush at the top. We agitate the glass with the brush, which lifts the dirt, then rinse with the pure water. Because the rinse water has nothing in it, it dries to crystal-clear glass on its own. No squeegee, no wiping, no smears.

Why pure-water poles are better

  • Safer β€” no ladders against the building, no working at height risk.
  • More thorough β€” frames, sills and trickle vents get cleaned at the same time, not just the glass.
  • Streak-free β€” no minerals in the water means no drying marks.
  • No mess β€” no soapy water dripping down walls or onto plants.
  • Reaches awkward windows β€” bay windows, bathrooms over conservatories, upper-storey windows.
  • Less intrusive β€” no need to be in your garden under your windows.

What about the inside?

We focus on exterior window cleaning, where pure-water poles excel. For interior cleaning we can offer a separate service using traditional methods β€” squeegees, microfibre cloths and detail work for sills and tracks. Many regular customers have us do exteriors monthly and interiors quarterly or annually.

Regular schedules

Most domestic customers have their windows cleaned every four, six or eight weeks. We can put you on a recurring schedule and just turn up β€” no need to remember or book each time. We send a text the day before so you have notice, and you can pay online or by direct debit. Commercial schedules range from weekly (retail and office) to quarterly (warehouses and industrial).

Solar panel cleaning

Pure-water poles are the standard method for cleaning solar panels too. Dirty panels lose efficiency β€” typically 5–15% over time as a film of pollen, dust and bird droppings accumulates. We can clean solar panels alongside windows or as a separate annual service. The same pure-water system that's safe for window seals is safe for solar panels.

Commercial window cleaning

Beyond domestic, we work on shops, offices, schools, hotels and small commercial premises. We can supply RAMS, public liability evidence and method statements as needed. For taller commercial buildings we work with cherry pickers, scaffolding or rope-access teams as appropriate.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the water dripping down my walls afterwards?

A small amount of pure water running down is normal and harmless β€” it dries clear without leaving any mark because there's no mineral content. Within an hour or two there's no trace.

What if it rains after you clean?

Rain water is naturally fairly pure (no minerals to speak of), so light rain after a clean has very little effect. Heavy, dirty rain might leave some marks, in which case we'll come back free of charge if you let us know within 24 hours.

How often should windows be cleaned?

Every four to eight weeks for most homes is ideal. South-coast or coastal properties may want more frequent cleaning; rural houses with no road traffic can stretch to quarterly.

Will you clean the frames and sills?

Yes β€” frames, sills and trickle vents all get scrubbed and rinsed during the wash, not just the glass.

Do you do solar panels?

Yes β€” using the same pure-water pole system. Annual cleaning helps maintain panel efficiency.
