Warehouses Cleaning
Industrial warehouse cleaning across the North East. Cladding, floors, exterior, racking. RAMS provided. Out-of-hours work available.
Warehouses look industrial because they are industrial β but that's not a reason to let them look neglected. Tired cladding, dirty signage, oil-stained loading bays, weed-covered concrete approaches, and grimy office frontages all undermine the impression of a busy, well-run operation. They also hurt at lease-end inspections and at landlord audits. We provide warehouse pressure washing across the North East β exteriors, floors, cladding, signage and supporting infrastructure.
Warehouse work is typically large-scale: cladding cleans cover thousands of square metres, floor cleans run to tens of thousands. We bring industrial-scale equipment β boom-arm cherry pickers for high cladding, ride-on surface cleaners for floors, hot-water industrial washers β and we provide the documentation and compliance commercial customers need.
Areas we cover
- External cladding β Kingspan, Trapezoidal, composite panel systems
- Loading bay aprons and forecourts β hot-water degreasing for tyre marks and oil
- Office frontages attached to warehouse units
- Signage and totem poles
- Internal warehouse floors β concrete, epoxy, polyurethane
- Racking and shelving (specialist clean during stocktake)
- Dust extraction housings and vents
- Yard and access roads
- Bin and waste areas
Cladding cleans
External cladding is the single biggest exterior surface on most warehouses, and it's almost always neglected because it requires access equipment to reach. Modern composite and trapezoidal cladding is robust and tolerates pressure washing well, but it picks up algae, atmospheric pollution and traffic dirt over years.
We clean cladding using cherry pickers (typically 25β35m boom heights) or scaffolding for the largest buildings. The approach is soft-wash biocide treatment to kill algae, followed by controlled-pressure rinse with a soft brush attachment. The cladding comes back to original colour. The transformation on a 20-year-old industrial building is dramatic β many landlords clean before re-letting because the impression on prospective tenants is so much better.
Floor cleaning
Industrial warehouse floors take an enormous amount of abuse β forklift traffic, dropped pallets, oil drips, pallet wrap residue, food and drink spills (in food warehouses), and constant grime build-up. Annual deep cleans are increasingly common because they support audit compliance, improve worker safety (slip prevention), and extend the life of expensive epoxy or polyurethane floor coatings.
We use ride-on or walk-behind industrial scrubber-driers for the bulk of the work, with hot-water pressure washing for stubborn contamination and edges. The job is typically done overnight or over a weekend so production isn't disrupted. We capture rinse water and dispose appropriately, particularly important in food and pharmaceutical environments.
Compliance and reporting
Warehouse work needs proper documentation. We supply RAMS, COSHH information, public liability and employers' liability evidence, CHAS or SafeContractor accreditation as required, and full photo-evidenced job reports. We're comfortable with site induction processes, permit-to-work systems, and confined space considerations where they apply.
Maintenance contracts
Many warehouse customers prefer scheduled maintenance over one-off blitzes. Common contracts:
- Annual cladding clean β full external building wash
- Quarterly floor deep clean β overnight slot
- Monthly office frontage β keeping customer-facing impression sharp
- Weekly bin area β particularly food-related warehouses
- Reactive callout β spills, vandalism, urgent compliance work
