Vehicle Undercarriage Cleaning
Vehicle undercarriage and chassis cleaning across the North East. Salt, mud and grime removed. Cars, vans, 4x4s, tractors.
The undercarriage is the part of any vehicle that takes the most abuse from road salt, mud and grit β and the part most rarely cleaned. Built-up salt accelerates corrosion of brake lines, suspension components and chassis, and is one of the main reasons vehicles fail their MOTs on rust. A regular undercarriage wash extends the life of the vehicle significantly, especially in winter when road salt is at its highest.
We clean undercarriages on cars, vans, 4x4s, tractors, plant machinery and motorhomes using hot-water pressure washing with a chassis-specific detergent. The job is done with the vehicle on a ramp where possible, or with a chassis-cleaning lance if not.
Most domestic customers have an undercarriage wash twice a year β once at the end of winter to clear salt, and once in autumn for general dirt. Commercial fleets often do it monthly or quarterly to maintain residual values and reduce MOT failure rates.
For agricultural and plant machinery we offer biosecurity-grade cleaning that complies with farm-to-farm cross-contamination rules.
